Pelops Constructions, parent company of Technical Olympic Group, is founded by Constantine Stengos.
1973
Mochlos S.A. is founded in Patras, Greece with main objective Technical Project Design and Construction, along with Ready-Mix Concrete Manufacture and Distribution.
1981
Pelops becomes Technical Olympic S.A. and its operations spread throughout Greece, covering all construction sectors.
1994
Technical Olympic S.A. and Mochlos S.A. are listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
1996
Delos Marinas S.A. is incorporated with objective the development and operation of marinas.
1997
Technical Olympic UK, PLC UK. Holding Company is incorporated in London.
Eurorom Constructii SRL, a subsidiary of Mochlos S.A., is founded in Romania signifying the expansion of the Group’s activities in the growing market of Romania.
1998
Meltemi Kastri S.A. is incorporated with the objective of producing and distributing electric power.
1999
The Construction Group Mochlos S.A. (66.78%) as well as the Porto Carras complex is acquired by Technical Olympic S.A.
Strofili Technical S.A. is incorporated with the objective of operating urban real estate.
Technical Olympic USA, Inc. is incorporated in the United States by acquiring US homebuilding Newmark Homes Corp., which is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
2000
The US Homebuilding Company Engle Homes Inc., which is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, is acquired by Technical Olympic U.S.A.
2002
Mochlos S.A. acquires the highest -7th- grade of the Contracting Enterprises Registry.
Merger of Engle Homes Inc. with Newmark Homes Corp. and change of their name to TOUSA. Currently, TOUSA is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
2003
Technical Olympic recorded the 6th highest consolidated turnover among groups in Greece, ranking 1st in the construction sector.
2004
Successful completion, according to plan, of the 1st phase of the major investment programme, amounting to approximately EUR 150 million, regarding the Porto Carras Grand Resort.
Transfer of the ordinary stock transactions of its subsidiary company TECHNICAL OLYMPIC USA (TOUSA) from the NASDAQ stock exchange to the New York stock exchange (NYSE) market, where it is traded since Tuesday 9 November 2004, under the abbreviation "TOA".
2005
The Group’s U.S. subsidiary TOUSA, is ranked 85th among the four hundred best companies in the U.S.A., according to Forbes magazine “Forbes Platinum 400-the best big companies in America”.
2006
The Technical Olympic Group becomes very active in the Balkans constructing significant projects in Romania.
2007
The Technical Olympic Group discontinues its activities in U.S.A.
2008
Commencement of activities of the Group’s branch in Russia.
